Virtual Reality empowers education through immersive technology
History lessons just got interesting thanks to VR headsets
Find yourself launched into virtual history starting from as early as the 11th century including Warsaw’s destruction during the Second World War, right up until the present day. Explore crucial stages of the history of Poland’s capital city from the top of a 44 storey virtual recreation of the Palace of Culture and Science. From the observation deck of one of Warsaw’s most famous landmarks watch over 1000 years of educational history unfold as you are immersed in the happenings of the day and virtually teleport yourself back and forth in time at will. Operate a number of artefacts from within the app, such as chopping vegetables with a Polish Saber, using a Slavic Axe to hack wood, aiming for a target with a bow, and firing the much feared “blyskawica” Submachine Gun. Experience history as it happens via your VR headset.
A great educational experience rather than just an informative application
A very interesting approach to teaching history by involving the user in a real experiential application. Fun and educational at the same time.
